Seascouting as a specialty has been created since the early years of Scouting in Greece. Sea Scouts are members of the international Scouting movement, with a particular emphasis on boating and water-based activities. These activities can be on the sea, rivers or lakes. Sea Scouts can provide a chance to sail, cruise on boats, learn navigation, learn how to work on engines and compete in regattas.

Seascouts training has been certified by Loyd's corporation  in terms of content, agenda and the way they are implemented.

The 1st Seascout Unit of Agria has experienced and accurately trained leaders who can teach young children and teenagers how to row or sail a traditional wooden boat safely!
